    • Frontal footpad kick to the knee joint

  • Protection
    • Outer shin block (Uchi sune uke) with the leg opposite the kicking leg

  • Defense technique
    Several striking and kicking techniques
    • Rising hand stitch (Yubisaki ate) to the zur jugular notch of the aggressor with the diagonally opposite arm
    • Distance shortening to the aggressor
    • Grip with both hands to the back of the head of the aggressor and a strong pull downwards, followed by ...
    • ... a rising knee shock (Hiza gashira ate) to the face
    • Body rotation about 90° laterally next to the aggressor, to the side of the non-kicking leg
    • Descending Elbow strike (Otoshi hizi uchi) to the back of the head of the aggressor with the same striking arm as before
