Forearm flexor lever

basic defense posture while choking: Chin to chest / Pull up shoulders / Tense neck muscles

  • Initial situation
    • The aggressor is located in front of the defender
    • One handed strangulation in the stand

  • Loosen grip
    • Strike with the forearm; just above the wrist, to the elbow crook of the choking arm

  • Defense technique
    Zempaku garami, Forearm control
    • The other hand grips the own wrist
    • Under jerky pull backwards, the upper body is bent forward
    • The angled strangling arm of the aggressor is fixed with the forearm at the lateral chest
    • By the own forearm as a buttress the elbow lever acts, in addition the muscle tissue is crushing
    • The pull to the rear is further maintained until the aggressor is on the ground

Strangle attacks pose a threat to life, they are consistent, timely and hard to fend off!
