Hiza hisigi - knee bending

UKE lies on his stomach, Tori is located on the left side at the level of UKE's knees, his chest is facing UKE. TORI has set his right leg while he kneels with his left leg.

TORI takes with his left hand UKE's right heel and pulls the foot into the back of the knee of UKE's left leg stretched so that the instep of UKE's right leg is in contact with the outside of UKE's left leg. Immediately after the placement of the right foot of UKE, TORI takes from above the instep of UKE's left foot and bends the leg in the direction of UKE's thigh, in this case he receives the pressure with his left hand on the right foot of UKE upright - UKE's left knee is greatly leveraged.

COMMENT:
This is a "negative" detachable lever (see Introduction Kansetzu waza). This technique can also be used very well as a continuation technique.
TORI can grip after he has fixed the foot of UKE, in the popliteal fossa of UKE, with his left hand into the belt of UKE, to build up more pressure with his right hand on UKE, 's left foot. If the right leg of UKE is not available, TORI can alternatively also place his own left leg as an abutment in UKE's knee.
