Jime garami - strangling control

TORI lies on his back, and UKE is kneeling between his legs. UKE trys to strangle TORI, and puts his left hand on Tori's right collar.

TORI brings his right leg in front of the left arm of UKE and lifts it so that his popliteal of the left knee touches on the right triceps of UKE. Tori's left knee is above UKE's right elbow. Now TORI pulls significantly the right arm of UKE against his chest. UKE simultaneously pushes his left knee on the arm of UKE up until the popliteal almost touches the shoulder, the biceps of the leg presses against the arm. UKE's neck is like a scissors between TORI's legs who are clasped behind UKE's neck.

The inside of his knee or thigh blocks UKE’s elbow. TORI now squeezes his knees and keeps the right wrist of UKE with both hands on his upper body. In good contact, is the leverage without a great expenditure of force.

COMMENT:
Here also occurs a strangulation on the carotid arteries of UKE (see Basics / Strangulation)
