Othen jime - rolled strangling

TORI stands laterally adjacent to UKE.

TORI attacks with his left hand by reaching very far behind the ear, in UKE's right collar. He does with his left leg a step to come up with his foot in front of UKE's left arm, his hollow of the knee is in contact with UKE's left elbow. At the same time, TORI tends sharply, so that his chest is pressed transversely on UKE's back.

At this moment TORI pushes his right arm from behind right under UKE's armpit. Now he performs over the back of UKE a role. It is important that TORI just before the role starts, lifts his right leg over the back of UKE. Here must be taken very close physical contact. TORI's right hand is pushed during the rolling motion as far as possible behind the head of UKE and engages the collar; in the neck area. UKE found himself lying at the end of the roll on the shoulders or on his back, on the chest or on the upper body of TORI. UKE is choked similar to Kata ha jime. UKE's left arm is blocked by TORI's left leg, TORI's left knee rests in the bend of the elbow of UKE, while the hollow of the knee of the right knee is above his left lower leg. TORI thus has his legs crossed in front of the lower body of the UKE.

COMMENT:
This technique is a continuation of Hasami Jime when UKE defended accordingly.
