O soto otoshi - major outer drop

TORI causes the aggressor to move his body weight to the right leg. TORI puts his left foot next to the right foot outside of the aggressor, while he draws the right arm of the aggressor with his left arm to the left side. At the same time he expresses his right shoulder close to the right shoulder of the aggressor, the two sides of the body also have close contact.

TORI now leads his right leg between his left leg and the right leg of the aggressor through to put it behind the right leg of the aggressor, or between the legs of the aggressor. Both knees have contact and the leg of TORI is slightly bent. TORI suppresses the aggressor under the aid of his body strong backwards while stretching out his right leg. By a rotational movement of the upper body to the lower left, the aggressor is thrown over the extended right leg of TORI.

Usage:
This technique is very versatile, for example after an arm block, as a support for arm levers or also to bring the attacker while close body contact to the ground.
