Nage waza: Foot throw (O soto otoshi) with ground fixation

Because these techniques are more complex, the description of the implementation is arranged on the right side. The technique is of course also applicable to the other side!

  • Initial situation

    • The Hanbo is conducted under the blocked arm and strikes from the outside on to the elbow
    • Without interrupting the Hanbo slides with the upper end over the striking arm in front of the larynx of the aggressor

    • The throw is increased by pressure of the Hanbo onto the larynx

  • Completion
    • The position of the Hanbo do not change in the ground layer
    • The hanbo is perpendicular to the ground and the striking arm is guided around the Hanbo
    • By pressing the Hanbo forward and pulling the striking arm the aggressor is turned in to the prone position
