Hadaka jime - free strangulation

Advantage:

  • Very strong grip, loosen is almost impossible
  • fast and simple approach

Disadvantage:

  • The defender must walk lateral backwards

The aggressor is fixed and transported by an air strangulation technique; Hadaka jime.
The technique is very fast applicable. It is important, that the aggressor is allready during the approach of the technique in a supine position, e.g. by pressure on the philtrum.

Use at a normal slap on the face:

The slap on the face is blocked by an inner forearm block (Uchi uke) and led away downwards.

The other hand presses against the shoulder opposite the striking arm, during the blocking hand, at the side of the striking arm, is pulling the aggressor at the scapula to the front - This produces a rotational movement of the aggressor. Doing this the defender goes behind the aggressor and brings him by corresponding pressure in the supine position.

Approach and execution of Hadaka jime, doing this the defender is located behind the aggressor in a 90° angle.
