Elbow stretch lever, Kick to the head

basic defense posture while choking: Chin to chest / Pull up shoulders / Tense neck muscles

  • Initial situation
    • The aggressor is located laterally in an 90° angle next to the defender
    • Both handed strangulation from the side in the stand

  • Loosen grip
    • The grip will not loosed, but fixed on the neck

  • Defense technique
    Elbow stretch lever, Kick to the head
    • The hand facing away of the aggressor grips from above on the strangling hand at the neck and pins the hand with pressure
    • The arm facing the aggressor is moved in a circular movement around the fixed hand ...
    • ... optionally distance extension by lateral removal from the aggressor
    • The hollow of the elbow presses energeticly on the streched elbow joint of the aggressor
    • The aggressor is, because of the elbow strech lever, in a forward bending position
    • Kick with the footpad (Mae geri) to the head (face) withe the leg facing away from the aggressor

  • Completion

Strangle attacks pose a threat to life, they are consistent, timely and hard to fend off!
