		Metacarpal

			Anatomy:
			
				- Anatomically, the hand exists out of individual bones. Humans have 27 bones. The wrist is formed with the eight carpal bones, which are hinged together. The metacarpal connects to the wrist, which is made up of five elongated metacarpals. The hand is supplied by three nerves: median nerve [Nervus medianus], radial nerve [Nervus radialis] and Ulnar Nerve [Nervus ulnaris].
 
			
			Attack:
			
				- Pressure in spaces between the metacarpal bones
				rubbing with knuckles
				Knuckle strikes (Kobushi ate), Fist strikes (Ken ate)
 
			
			Consequence:
			
				- Nerve pain (neuralgia); periosteum pain, where appropriate fracture of the metacarpal
 
			
			Comment:
			
				- Excellent for use as solvent technique
